DIRECTIONS:
Rub a small amount of Whipped Body Butter in hands to melt. A little goes a long way! Apply to your entire body. Absorbs gradually for long-lasting moisture that nourishes your skin!
Remember, this is a BUTTER, not a cream. Unlike most creams and lotions, this body butter contains NO WATER, so there’s no need for emulsifiers, chemical preservatives or refrigeration. Be patient as it absorbs into your skin. You’ll be glad you did!
INGREDIENTS: *organic raw shea butter, *mango seed butter, *grapeseed oil, *olive oil, *vegetable glycerin, *beeswax, *zinc oxide, *vitamin E oil, essential oil and/or fragrance oil
("Natural" scent has neither essential oils nor fragrance oils)
NOTE: citrus essential oils may cause skin sensitivity in high concentrations or prolonged sun exposure. Use caution!
* Organic Raw Shea Butter is an extraordinary skin and hair moisturizer because it’s rich in unsaturated fats, essential fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamins E and D, provitamin A and allantoin. Shea Butter’s moisturizing, and protecting properties help protect from UV sunlight and harsh climates.
* Mango Seed Butter is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamins A, C and E. It has many similar benefits to shea butter, but is higher in fatty acid content so it is an excellent moisturizer as well.
* Grapeseed Oil contains vitamin E, proteins, minerals and linoleic acid that nourish the hair and skin. Linoleic acid strengthens the cell membranes and improves the overall quality of your skin.
* Olive Oil contains three major antioxidants: vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols. Antioxidants, when topically applied, may help protect from UV damage. Hydroxytyrosol, a rare compound found in olive oil, also prevents free radical damage.
* Vegetable Glycerin is a natural humectant. When used with other natural oils and ingredients, it can seal in moisture on the top layer of the skin while the other oils work their way deep into the cells to provide long-lasting moisture.
* Beeswax locks in moisture and protects skin. With anti-bacterial properties and vitamin A, it aids in natural healing and cell development without clogging pores.
* Zinc Oxide is a thickening agent that is insoluble in water. It is commonly used to make sunscreen products more waterproof. Because it sits on top of the skin, it offers protection from the sun by scattering and absorbing the harmful UVA and UVB rays.
* Vitamin E Oil not only provides moisture to the skin, but the presence of antioxidants in it facilitates the healing process. Massaging your hair and scalp with a conditioning blend containing vitamin E oil will moisturize it from root to shaft and help revive the lost shine. It also stimulates the production of sebum, which makes the hair more lustrous.
